Kyriacou Architects and SMEC, in consortium with Lend Lease and Coleman Rail, have delivered the Wendouree station as part of Ballarat Line Upgrade Project. The $10 million upgrade provides more trains and services during peak times, helping to improve growth in large residential communities and serving the town of Wendouree.

The upgraded station is more accessible and features improved amenities, to cater to Wendouree’s growing population. The upgraded station features:

• A second platform and rail track on the south side
• An accessible pedestrian overpass linking the two platforms
• Improved security and lighting
• Enhancement of the station forecourt with improved landscaping.
