BALLARAT LINE UPGRADE
Kyriacou Architects and SMEC, in consortium with Lend Lease and Coleman Rail, are delivering the Ballarat Line Upgrade Project. The $518 million project will deliver more trains and provide extra services during peak times, helping to improve reliability for Melbourne’s outer Western suburbs; with new and re-developed railway stations at Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Ballan, Toolern, Wendouree, and Ballarat.
Kyriacou Architects are the Lead Architects overseeing station design, and Master Planning of the station precincts and intermodal hubs.
This project also involved the design and construction of Driver’s Amenities, Stabling Facilities, and track duplication and passing loops, construction of new platforms and associated station infrastructure, and signalling upgrades.
